Straub Dominates, Mulder and Peterson Impress at Choke Point 01

The first Choke Point Invitational at Precision Submission Grappling brought a night full of action, slick subs, and standout performances.

Logan Straub ran through the 165 lb bracket with a dominant 4-0 performance, picking up two submissions and outscoring his other opponents by a combined 46-1. He capped off the night with a win over Nathan Ryan in the final—Ryan went undefeated in Group A with two subs of his own and looked sharp all night.

Jordan Clark and Jordan Johnson both had strong showings, each going 2-1 with a submission. One of the wildest moments of the night came in a buggy choke battle between Jordan Mills and Chance Davis—Mills ended up winning the exchange in what quickly became the most viral moment of the event.

In the feature matches, Zane Mulder took control early and cruised to a win after his opponent couldn’t continue into the second round. Bryan Peterson and Jordan Peitzman went back and forth in an exciting scrap, with Peterson locking up a kneebar in the second to seal the deal.
